Hello I'm Kristy Blevins and I am the founder of Appalachian Mnt Herbs. I live in a small town in Southwestern part of Virginia, named Whitetop.  Whitetop is the 2nd highest peak in Virginia with the highest peak in Virginia is Mount Roger's they are quite close together. I first started gathering Herbs at a young age hated it and didn't do it again until the summer of 2019. I had lost my job my car was dying I had no money. Someone had told me Witch Hazel was being a $1.25 a pound. That's where my herbing and root digging began. I remember the 1st time I pulled $80.00 in a day boy I was excited!.!
        Well that was a couple years ago.  I always had this dream of living of the land using the land to make profit for an honest living then I find Esty. There isn't many jobs around here. Most of the time you  drive and hour to and from wherever you work each day.
     Life is  Christmas tree growing or Herbing up on this mountain. It's truly a place like no other. Most people say it's God's Country!!
